“A resort course attached to the nearby Hyatt Hotel, River Marsh plays over flat, marshy terrain along the Choptank River. Sadly, there are only two holes where the water comes into play and these are the best two holes on the course at 17 and 18. The first 16 holes are fairly vanilla and wind around housing development and hazards. In some ways, they feel a bit "unfinished." The conditioning was also lacking when I played with crabgrass on the greens leading to some bumpy putts. There isn't much golf in this part of Maryland so River Marsh is worth a play if in the area or staying at the hotel, mainly due to the closing stretch and decent value. It is only slightly above average for Maryland publics overall, however."
