“Spectacular Jurassic Park like setting. 1100 acres in total. Impossible to walk. Very constricting off the tee, especially the front nine. If you are a little wayward your ball is swallowed up by the jungle. Apparently the conditioning is never good and there is a lot of rain in the winter months. That being said, the unique mountains and lush verdure makes for a truly unique experience."

“Course is in horrible condition. If a high handicapper bring a small bucket of balls. The holes are very tight and jungle is the boarder on most holes. Not worth the money."

“Very fun golf course. Views are tremendous. Must manage your distance through out the course to avoid loosing your golf ball. Definitely everything beautiful that makes Hawaii special."

“The scenery on the front nine is unlike anything I've ever seen on a golf course. Holes are short and tight. The drive from #1 green to #2 tee is over a mile and you will want to bring you camera. Course was worth the price, felt like a very HAWAII course, huge trees, beautiful vegetation all around. Course played really slow, not an easy course to get around if carts are limited to the cart path."

“Royal Hawaiian is located in the rainy part of Oahu and located in the jungle, so it is unlike anything you'll play in the mainland US. It has a few really good holes and a few head scratchers -- conditions can be a little rough in the rainy season (winter) too. If you're looking for something unique -- this one is worth doing! Views of the mountains are excellent!"

“Royal Hawaiian is quite the golf experience. It is settled into the Maunawili Valley and has wonderful views of the Ko'olau mountains. It is quite lush and possibly will be soaked when you go to play. You really feel like you are playing in a jungle and sometimes you are not sure where you are going when heading to the next tee. The course is quite tricky off of the tee. There are several holes that you need to strategically place your shots and requires some careful reading of the course guide to understand options. Because it can be a bit wet, the course was not that enjoyable the day I played. The clubhouse is good and the overall experience friendly."
