“A good public-access course if you are looking for a good public course to play."

“Fantastic public course. A good variety of holes, many of which present difficult strategic options from tee to green depending on how aggressive the golfer wants to be. The green complexes are challenging and well guarded as well. Wind direction can increase the difficulty of the course and the final 4 holes are amongst the most difficult closing stretch that I’ve played."

“Fantastic public course in an area that is dominated by some well known private ones. That said, the course should not be overlooked. A very good variety holes. Oftentimes the golfer can decide how aggressive to play the holes off the tee or approach shot wise. Green complexes are challenging and well protected. And depending on the wind direction, the course can play quite long and challenging. Last 4 holes are amongst the most challenging closing holes I’ve played."

“The course left me wanting to try again and I had a really great time playing it. I think this is a really fun course to play and could be different every day based on wind and conditions. Shots were recoverable and the course was intriguing on many shots. The wide-open, undulating fairways and use of water hazards, indigenous trees, and many strategic bunkers are very true to Jack Nicklaus' designs. The use of elevation/undulation in an otherwise very flat Palm Beach area as well as the use of the Intercoastal waterway was fun to experience."

“Great location in North Palm Beach. Every hole seemed challenging for different reasons, either length, bunker placement or green elevation. Overall a nice course in good condition."

“North Palm Beach Country Club is one of the best public access courses in South FL. The elevation changes are surprising given the relatively flat terrain that is more typical of the area. This allows for a fun course design with great layout variety and shop options. The conditioning is also very good with firm and fast fairways and firm and consistent greens. Overall a great golf experience and at a very reasonable rate."

“North Palm Beach Country Club is a surprising experience that exceeded my expectations along many dimensions. The elevation changes in particular standout in an area that is more typically flat and unremarkable. This created an opportunity for a course design to take advantage of these features. The resulting design has great layout variety and shot options. The conditioning is also firm and fast on the fairways and firm and consistent on the greens. Overall, I found the design amongst the best in South Florida and enjoyed the course so much that I have since played it several times - even with the abundance of golf options in South FL."

“Good public Jack Nicklaus golf course that is decent condition and provides a challenge for all levels of players. Play is quick and you can make it play as easy or hard as you would like."

“Typical Florida course with generous bunkers and many water hazards. Not so typical Florida course with unusual elevation change like the elevated green on the par 4 second hole. Surprises like that and the par 4 11th with its massive hill on the left side of the fairway adds some thought as to way to attack the hole. Being close to the ocean, wind definitely a factor and needs to be considered when deciding which tees to play."
