    Bonville Golf Resort

Bonville, New South Wales, Australia Public

    Overview

Situated halfway between Sydney and Brisbane on the Coffs Coast, Bonville is one of Australia’s best public courses. The resort course draws comparisons to Augusta National with its towering trees framing each hole, fluffy white sand in its bunkers and fantastic conditioning. Ted Stirling and Terry Watson designed a magnificent routing on land previously owned by the Australian Paper Mills through old rainforests—which create a feeling of isolation from one hole to the next. Bonville is ranked 32nd on the Australian Golf Digest’s most recent ranking of Australia’s best courses.
