We can't stop watching Shingo Katayama's bizarre putting routine

Shingo Katayama's putting has already been in the news in 2016. Some thought he was anchoring his stroke during the EurAsia Cup in January.

Now, it's his putting routine that has our attention.

Sure, every tour pro has his quirks. But let's just say this putting routine that Katayama had on display Friday at the European Tour's True Thailand Classic has our attention.

We won't argue with results. Katayama, who is ranked No. 76 in the world, has made a great living doing what he does.

But if a hacker in our foursome started facing putts side-saddle before getting into his putting setup, you can be sure it would warrant a couple wise cracks.

If anything, with his cowboy hat and flashy outfits, we now have our eyes on Katayama as one of the more electric guys playing worldwide.
