Watch Martin Kaymer's valiant "Happy Gilmore" effort in the PGA Long Drive Contest
Martin Kaymer is the defending PGA Championship winner at Whistling Straits and by the looks of things, he's feeling pretty good to be back in Haven, Wisconsin. On Tuesday, Kaymer was cocky enough to do his Long Drive Contest attempt "Happy Gilmore" style -- and he crushed it. Check it out:
Unfortunately, Kaymer needed a little more body english to get his ball back to the fairway. Since it stayed in the right rough, he didn't register an official score, but the shot was still impressive.
Not that we should be too surprised. This is a guy who hit a 232-yard drive with his putter last year. So if there's ever a "Happy Gilmore"/putter only long drive contest, we know who to bet on.
