Watch Ernie Els dunk a bunker shot with his shirt completely untucked
The Big Easy sure made things look easy from the sand on the first hole of the FedEx St. Jude Classic on Thursday. Ernie Els found himself in a greenside bunker 69 feet from the pin after his approach shot came up short, but his bunker shot was perfect. Watch as he dunks it on the fly for a spectacular opening birdie:
Now watch the clip again. Did you notice that Els' shirt is completely untucked? Yes, it gets hot at TPC Southwind in Memphis, but it's rare to see a PGA Tour player look that sloppy -- especially on the first hole! Even for us weekend hackers, it usually takes a few holes before we just give up on trying to get tucked back in.
Then again, the man has 19 PGA Tour wins and four majors. And he can pull off shots like that. We'll let it slide.
