The impending decision from the USGA on assessing a penalty stroke to Dustin Johnson's fifth hole has caused an incredible stir in the golf community.

As golf fans -- and Johnson himself -- awaited what golf's ruling body will do (the USGA would end up assessing a one-stroke penalty to DJ, deeming he caused the ball to move) some of golf's biggest figures have expressed their opinion on social media. The U.S. Open and Dustin Johnson started trending on Twitter worldwide pretty much immediately after the situation, and USGA rules official Jeff Hall discussed the ruling body's stance on the Fox telecast.
