Right now, there's something called the Ice Bucket Challenge that people are doing on the internet. Basically, someone will pour a big bucket of ice water on themselves, then call out the names of two or three other people to do the same. If they don't pour ice water over their own heads within 24 hours, they have to donate $100 to a charity of the person who called them out's choosing.
Last week, Keegan Bradley and Rickie Fowler each took the challenge, and the trend has continued to spread through the golf industry. First, Michelle Wie responded to the challenge.
And that initiated a whole set of challenges. Jessica Korda was one of the people Wie called out, and she duly responded.
Then Korda called out Suzann Pettersen.
Even the Golf Channel got involved. Keegan Bradley called out Gary Williams on Twitter, and his challenge didn't disappoint.
Update, 6:01 p.m.: Lydio Ko stepped up to the plate.
So did Lexi.
But Ian Poulter seems to have upped the ante. He nominated Justin Rose, Martin Kaymer and . . . Tiger Woods. Let's see it Tiger!
