Stud golfer Aaron Hicks made the fastest throw from the outfield ever recorded

We’ve established that Aaron Hicks is the one of the best pro-athlete golfers around with a handicap index that's been as low as 0.9. But now, he’s also on the books as having the fastest throw from the outfield ever recorded.

The New York Yankees outfielder accomplished that feat on Wednesday night when he threw out an Oakland A’s baserunner at home plate. Check out this rocket:

As you can see, Hicks threw a baseball 105.5 MPH. That would be a pretty fast swing speed!

As a kid growing up in Southern California, Hicks wanted to follow in Tiger Woods’ footsteps. His dad even preferred he pursue golf instead of baseball, but eventually the latter won out. Having an arm like that certainly didn’t hurt.
