Golf Digest Scholars

In partnership with Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA), Golf Digest is creating the Golf Digest Scholar program for junior golfers. Student athletes will be invited to submit essays or be nominated by others describing why they should be voted the Golf Digest Scholar of the Year. With readers voting, one deserving junior male and female golfer will be awarded a scholarship to the IJGA Academy in Hilton Head, SC in 2010.

In conjunction with its affiliates-Heritage Academy and the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT)-IJGA is the only organization in the world that combines training, competition and academics for serious junior golfers. The Academy's full-time boarding program offers the combination of golf instruction and academic studies designed to assist young men and women in achieving their potential as student-athletes. Students attend the Academy from 22 states across the U.S. and 23 countries from around the world.
