A long year on the PGA Tour became longer on Sunday, when a playoff that began with five players and was down to four at the RSM Classic in Sea Island, Ga., ran up against darkness.

Play will resume at 8 a.m. (EST) on Monday on the 17th hole of the Seaside Course, with Mackenzie Hughes, Blayne Barber, Henrik Norlander and Camilo Villegas still alive and heading to a third playoff hole.

Billy Horschel bowed out on the first playoff hole by missing the hole on a par putt inside three feet.

All five had birdie putts, though of varying lengths, on the first playoff hole, the 18th, and all missed. On the second playoff hole, again the 18th, all four missed, including Hughes missing from 12 feet to win.
