For the first time in a decade, exhibition golf is returning to primetime television.

Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are set to face off in an under-the-lights event. According to the AP, the match is scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 at Detroit Golf Club, two days after The Memorial tournament and a week before the U.S. Open.

The first two hours are scheduled to be broadcast on the Golf Channel, with the matching starting at 7:00 PM. CBS would then take over the final two hours. Most of the back nine coverage is expected to be played under lights.

McIlroy and Fowler, ranked No. 3 and No. 4 in the world rankings, will also be teaming up with celebrities in the match, although the stars or playing format has not been settled.

The match is the first primetime exhibition in America since the Tiger Woods-led Monday Night Golf events, the last of which aired in 2005.
