Rickie Fowler, Danny Lee engaging in prank war at Tour Championship

You would think, with a $10 million payday on the line at the Tour Championship, players would be a tad high-strung this week. Their collective demeanor has been anything but.

Chalk it up to the finality of the season, the small field (thereby increasing their odds), the fact some don't consider the $10 million a big deal or that, even in the event of a withdraw, they can pull in a nice check (Jim Furyk and Louis Oosthuizen received just north of $133,000 despite bowing out of the competition). Whatever the case, there's undoubtedly a mellow, laid-back undertone on the grounds at East Lake Golf Club.

It's a setting that delivered one of the more entertaining interviews of the year courtesy of Jason Day, and now, a prank war between Rickie Fowler and Danny Lee.

Fowler drew first blood on Thursday, writing on Lee's parking lot nameplate:

And blocking off his space:

Lee retaliated Friday, although was caught in the act:

The PGA Tour website caught up with Fowler, who seemed to issue his own statement of further aggression:

So yeah, not exactly the same air of solemnity one usually sees at a major PGA Tour event.
