PGA Tour caddie’s wife pays homage to her husband and their life together…and apart

January 15, 2016

The life of a PGA Tour caddie can be a grind, but imagine what the wife of a PGA Tour caddie endures, home alone for weeks at a time.

We have a better idea now courtesy of Sissi Henley, whose husband Kip Henley caddies for Brian Gay. Sissi wrote a love letter of sorts to Kip, as he pursues the start of another year at what he called “the greatest crappy job in the world.”

Sissi posted it on Twitter:

“Think I married up?” Henley replied on Twitter. “Caddying is the greatest crappy job in the world.”

Henley, 54, was a contestant on Golf Channel’s Big Break II. He played nine PGA Tour events without making a cut and 22 web.com Tour events, making three cuts.
