PGA Championship: Play suspended

Third-round play in the PGA Championship was suspended at 6 p.m. EST on Saturday before co-leaders Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb, among others had begun their rounds.

Forty-five players will need to finish the third round on Sunday, including 12 who have yet to even start. The PGA of America said it hoped to finish the tournament on Sunday, with the third round continuing at 7 a.m. EST. Weather might dictate otherwise.

Kevin Kisner is the clubhouse leader, having shot a five-under 65 earlier in the day. He ascended 42 spots up the leader board and is now tied for sixth place and four strokes off the lead.

Padraig Harrington, the 2008 PGA Championship winner, also shot a five-under 65, moving to four under. He is tied with Rickie Fowler and Hideki Matsuyama for 10th place.

Phil Mickelson shot a two-under 68, still eight shots off the lead at one under.

Jordan Spieth played just his first hole, making a par and remaining three under, tied with Adam Scott. Henrik Stenson, Fowler and Patrick Reed are also yet to start their third round.
