People on Twitter didn't find Josh Scobee's Tiger Woods joke very funny
On Wednesday, just after Tiger Woods announced his plans to take some time off to work on his game, NFL kicker Josh Scobee tweeted what appeared to be a taunt at the golfer. In case you didn't know, Scobee is a good golfer himself: Last December, he shot 67 while the NFL season was still going on.
On Friday, Scobee had enough of all the Twitter hate, so he decided to clarify that the whole thing was a joke, and that all his critics should just take it down a notch.
