Matt Kuchar kicked off his Masters week teaming up with Venus Williams in a tennis match

Monday was an extra busy Monday at Augusta National. Tiger Woods created a ton of buzz by showing up in the afternoon, heading to the practice facilities, and playing 11 holes with old buddy Mark O'Meara.

One of Tiger's favorite practice round buddies in recent years, Matt Kuchar, had a decidedly more relaxing Monday. Kuchar spent the day at home in Sea Island, Ga., and played in an exhibition tennis match, teaming up with world-class tennis star Venus Williams against pro tennis brothers Murphy and Luke Jensen.

Here's a shot of Kuchar and Williams celebrating a point today:

Williams was visiting Sea Island for a tennis clinic and held a trunk show for her apparel line, EleVen by Venus. Serena's buddy, Caroline Wozniacki, was making headlines herself on Monday night, sitting next to J.J. Watt at the NCAA men's basketball championship game in Indianapolis after the pair were in Washington D.C. for the White House Easter Egg Roll.

The exhibition match started off with a coin toss by Kuchar's sons, Carson and Cameron. Kuch is well-known for his tennis prowess, partnering up with wife, Sybi, who played women's tennis at Georgia Tech.

Kuchar, who has three top-10 finishes in the Masters the last three years, is expected to arrive at Augusta National on Tuesday—just a short three and a half hour drive from Sea Island.
