Man. This is the definition of an abyss of dunes. Just endless fescue on fescue. Nope, it's not Ireland. It's the site of this week's U.S. Open at Chambers Bay.
We're pretty glad we'll be watching and covering the golf there. Our wrists and backs are aching just seeing this Keegan Bradley photo. Downhill lie, fescue up to your knee caps. Good luck if your tee shots go way off line this week.
We feel you, Keegan. Wish we could find out the result of this shot. Need that video. I'm sure we'll see enough carnage to keep us entertained/scare us all week at the U.S. Open.
What we did get was a video of Keegan throwing some quick shade at the USGA with this Instagram video. Obviously, we're sure Keegs threw this up in a tongue-and-cheek matter. And in fairness to him, this piece of machinery does look pretty wild. The USGA doing what needs to get done to get the greens rolling how they want them.
