How does Henrik Stenson prepare for Chambers Bay's "broccoli" greens? By eating broccoli, of course
UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. -- Henrik Stenson provided one of the more memorable sound bites of this U.S. Open on Friday by likening the greens at Chambers Bay to "putting on broccoli."
And then just to prove he was serious -- or because broccoli is an excellent source of Vitamin K -- he decided to have some broccoli for lunch before his third round.

Will Stenson putt better on Saturday by connecting with the Chambers Bay putting surfaces on this gastronomic level? We'll have to see. But it's fair to say he's still not a fan of the golf course. When Gary Player went on a prolonged rant railing against Chambers Bay on Golf Channel's "Morning Drive," Stenson, who's four shots off the lead at five under, sent this approving tweet.
