Alabama's Bud Cauley, Georgia'sRussell Henley and Washington's Nick Taylor are the finalists for the 2010 Ben Hogan Award, given to the top collegiate player over the past 12 months based on college and amateur competition.
Each finalist has been invited to Colonial CC in Fort Worth for the award presentation May 24, where the winner will be revealed.
Cauley, a sophomore who is turning pro later this summer, has a 71.32 average with two wins and six top-10s. Henley, a junior, recently claimed the SEC conference title, his third win of the season, as well as taking player-of-the-year honors. Taylor, a senior, has nine top-10 finishes in 11 starts and a 70.74 average.
The award is presented by Chesapeake Energy, in association with Colonial CC, The Friends of Golf (FOG) and the Golf Coaches Association of America.
