Former Miss America has her golf clubs stolen, handles it remarkably well

November 04, 2016

Seriously, what is wrong with this country?! No, we're not talking about the hostile presidential election, or the fact that the Dallas Cowboys get to call themselves "America's Team" despite winning two playoff games in the past two decades. Neither of those things reflect very positively on the U.S., but even worse is that our citizens are stealing golf clubs from each other.

And no golfer is safe. Not even Miss America herself.

That's right, Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev had her golf clubs stolen earlier this week. She announced this atrocity on Twitter and we must say, one of our nation's sweethearts seems to be handling it remarkably well.

"Hope the person who has them now is a scratch golfer and enjoys them"? Kira, you are way too kind.

Earlier this year, Kira joined us on the Golf Digest Podcast to talk about life wearing the coveted crown and how she had re-found her passion for golf following a year of constant travel. Just last week, Kazantsev played in a PGA Tour Champions pro-am with Caitlyn Jenner:

And here's a slow-mo look at her golf swing from a Web.com Tour pro-am earlier in the year:

If anyone reading this has Kira's clubs, please give them back. She probably needs them soon for another pro-am.
