Final Round: Walker leads by one with nine holes left

Jimmy Walker is inching closer to a wire-to-wire victory at the PGA Championship, one stroke ahead of Jason Day and Henrik Stenson heading into the back nine at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J.

Walker has shot even par over nine holes to remain 11 under for the tournament.

Day struggled early in the final round, recording bogeys on two of his first three holes. He rebounded with birdies on the fifth and ninth holes to turn in 10 under.

Stenson was one under through 10 holes and tied with Day.

Branden Grace made one of the biggest moves early, shooting a three-under 67 to move into fourth place at nine under. The South African Grace finished third in last year's PGA Championship, and is vying for his fourth top five in a major in the past two years.

Brooks Koepka was eight under through 11 holes, three strokes back of the lead and tied with Hideki Matsuyama and Robert Streb. Koepka is playing in his first event since the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational due to a nagging ankle injury.

Jordan Spieth was at one under through 14 holes, five under and six strokes back of the lead. He is tied with Adam Scott, Martin Kaymer and Patrick Reed.

Phil Mickelson shot a two-under 68, finishing at three under at the venue where he won his Wanamaker trophy in 2005. He is currently tied for 32nd.
