Ellie Day tells LeBron James "we good," sticks up for husband Jason
Ellie Day became a surprising headline Thursday night after getting knocked over by LeBron James in the front row of a Cavs game on national TV and sent to a Cleveland hospital. On Friday afternoon, after being released from the hospital earlier in the day, the wife of World No. 2 Jason Day took to Twitter to assure everyone she was OK, and told the four-time NBA MVP, "we good."
Ellie said she was relieved neither of her kids, Dash or Lucy, were there. She was flattered by the outpouring of support she received, but she didn't like the criticism her husband took.
"To the crazies who think Jason should have protected me-- if he had had time to react so would have I," she writes. "Also, I would not have liked both dudes landing on me."
