This week's guest is Daytona State's Mitsuki Katahira. Perhaps the name doesn't immediately connect with you, but it should. The 21-year-old from Japan is ranked No. 1 in the recently created Women's World Amateur Golf Ranking and No. 2 in the Golfstat Cup. While playing at a junior college, Katahira has developed a resume the envy of any college player in the country. In nine starts this season, she's won six times and finished second in her other three starts, claiming a 70.92 stroke average in the process.
Here is her college record this year, her team having played in six tournaments hosted by Division I schools.
