The golf swing might seem like a complicated mix of shifting and turning, but you already know how to do it. Just take a heavy object (we're using a training ball here), stand sideways and toss it underhand to a friend. The ball's weight will force you to use your arms and your lower body to get enough power. The swing works the same way: Instead of using the clubhead to lift the ball, use your arms and lower body to generate speed and make a powerful strike on the back of the ball as you move through to your left side.
