Bradley vs. Jimenez, the reaction: 'Keegan if trading punches. Miguel if they go to the mat'

May 02, 2015

Golf is a gentlemen's game, except when it isn't, and it wasn't when Miguel Angel Jimenez and Keegan Bradley stood toe to toe during their match at the WGC-Cadillac Match Play on Friday.

Reaction on Twitter was varied and amusing, but we'll start with Sean Martin of PGATour.com, who has a suggestion for the gladiators should they with to settle the dispute once and for all:

If Keegan and Miguel want to continue things, there's a hole at San Francisco GC that hosted CA's last legal duel. http://t.co/PrLIxcRRrC

And if an actual fight had broken out?

.@andyroddick @Keegan_Bradley Keegan if trading punches. Miguel if they go to the mat. :)

Other random reactions from Twitter:

If only Miguel would've blown cigar smoke in Keegan's face. I might've watched that a 1000 times! :) #truth

— Bob Estes (@BobEstesPGA) May 2, 2015 Lots of thoughts on the scuffle. I've known Miguel a long time and he is a good dude. Big heart. Unfortunate situation for all involved.

— David Duval (@david59duval) May 2, 2015 Never saw aggressive behavior from Miguel during the encounter. Saying shut up was his mistake. Nothing else.

— David Duval (@david59duval) May 2, 2015 I love what Keegan did. Every player should stand up for their loop at times like that but not all would. 2 bad they couldn't drop the mitts

— Graham DeLaet (@GrahamDeLaet) May 2, 2015 . I wish @Keegan_Bradley would have laid him out. Bush league from Jimenez to question drop in a meaningless match @TRAVISMATHEW #teamTM

— andyroddick (@andyroddick) May 2, 2015 If a player tells me to"shut up"I would immediately shut up but when he gets out of his curtesy car at his hotel I would be standing there.
