Ben Crenshaw's Austin mansion goes on sale for $5.7 million, includes putting green

February 06, 2016

Ben Crenshaw is known for his gentle touch on the putting greens -- a big reason for his two Masters titles. Now you can own the estate Crenshaw owned -- which includes a synthetic putting green in the backyard where Crenshaw practiced his deft putting.

This 7,000-square-foot property that sits on 1.41 acres was purchased by the Crenshaws in 1988, according to a listing from Roxan Coffman Properties, and includes two master suites and a number of luxurious features.

Here's a look at the house outside Austin in Tarrytown.
