A coffee table book on Bandon Dunes is no substitute for Bandon Dunes, but it might make a nice supplement for those who already have experienced "golf as it was meant to be," as the subtitle of the book accurately notes.

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the coast of Oregon has produced the coffee table book, entitled, simply, "Bandon Dunes," and it features photographs of each of the 85 holes at the resort, taken by local artist Wood Sabold.

There is a regular edition ($100) and a collector's edition ($500). The latter is signed by the course architects David Kidd (Bandon Dunes), Tom Doak (Pacific Dunes and Old Macdonald), Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw (Bandon Trails and Bandon Preserve) and by founder and owner of Bandon Dunes, Mike Keiser. It also comes with five medallions representing each course, five art prints signed by the photographer, a rendering of the first routing plan for "Mackenzie National," which was the original name for Bandon Dunes, and a clamshell case.

The regular edition is available now through Bandon Dunes' website, while the collector's edition is taking pre-orders.

Art prints of any of the photos in the book are available, framed or unframed.
