By Mike O'Malley

HOYLAKE, England -- Doing the math on the second round at Royal Liverpool: 1:Pheasants interrupting Rory McIlroy on the eighth green. 2:Strokes taken by Sergio Garcia at the par-4 second. It was the same hole Garcia eagled in the third round of the 2006 Open, when he shot a front-nine 29, just a stroke off Denis Durnian's Open record set on the front nine at Royal Birkdale in 1983. 2:Golf balls lost by Miguel Angel Jimenez in his 73, including a triple-bogey 7 at the eighth hole. Said Jimenez: "Two lost balls, you cannot score."
