With 16 players within three shots of the leaders, this tournament is wide open going into the final 18 holes.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) -- Bernhard Langer shot a 5-under 67 and was tied for the lead after the second round of the Administaff Small Business Classic on Saturday.

Langer, the defending champion, had five birdies and no bogeys. He finished at 25 under to win last year's tournament at Augusta Pines by eight shots.

Funk, the Champions Tour points leader, was tied with eight other players at 6 under.

Sixteen players are within three shots of the lead entering Sunday's final round.

First-round leader Andy Bean had two bogeys and a double bogey for a second-round 72, falling to 137 and into a tie for fifth with Dan Forsman.

Jay Haas, first on the Champions Tour earnings list with $1.7 million this year, fired a 72 and is tied for seventh at 138.

Nielsen had four birdies. He has bogeyed only one hole in the two rounds, taking a four on No. 16 on Friday.

Bryant had six birdies but bogeyed Nos. 3 and 6 in an uneven front nine.

Hal Sutton, playing in his first Champions Tour event, shot a 70 and is tied for 28th.
