Golf World Announces 2009 Golf World Invitational
NEW YORK, NY—Golf World magazine has announced that the 2009 Golf World Invitational will be held at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, VA from October 22— 25. Kingsmill Resort & Spa, JetBlue, Cleveland Golf and Srixon will be the official sponsors.
The event, which was held in Orlando the previous two years, will make its first trip to Williamsburg. Participants will have the opportunity to play one round of golf on each of Kingsmill’s three signature courses (The River Course, The Plantation Course and The Woods Course), attend an “Inside the Ropes” discussion with Golf World Senior Writer Tim Rosaforte and engage in hands–on equipment demonstrations.
This year, the first 20 two–person teams to register and pay in full for the Golf World Invitational will receive one complimentary roundtrip airfare voucher per team member courtesy of JetBlue.
