Golf World Announces Pat Grady of Colorado and Caroline Westrup of Florida State as “College Players of the Week”
NEW YORK, NY— Golf World has announced its “College Players of the Week” for the period between September 15 and September 21. The feature will appear in the September 26 issue of Golf World and can be viewed online now.
This week’s honorees are seniors Pat Grady of Colorado and Caroline Westrup of Florida State. Grady earned his first collegiate victory with a 12–under 204 at the Ron Moore Invitational. In the process, he helped the Buffaloes break the school’s 54–hole record with a 39–under 825, claiming the team title by 24 strokes over Air Force.
Westrup shot the low score of the final round (66) at Yeamans Hall Golf Club to claim medalist honors at the Cougar Classic. She finished with a 10–under 206 en route to her fifth career victory.
Golf World’s “College Players of the Week” section highlights a male and a female who have demonstrated outstanding individual play during a seven day period.
