Golf World Announces Grant Doverspike of Fresno State and Natalie Sheary of Wake Forest as “College Players of the Week”
NEW YORK, NY— Golf World has announced its “College Players of the Week” for the period between February 11 and February 17. The feature will appear in the February 22 issue of Golf World and can be viewed online now.
This week’s honorees are sophomore Grant Doverspike of Fresno State and freshman Natalie Sheary of Wake Forest. Doverspike shot an eight–under 208 at the CSU San Marcos Invitational, which earned him medalist honors by three shots and gave the Bulldogs the team title.
Sheary notched her first collegiate win at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and gave Wake back–to–back medalists for the first time in school history (Nanette Hill won to close out the fall season).
Golf World’s “College Players of the Week” section highlights a male and a female who have demonstrated outstanding individual play during a seven day period.
