GOLF DIGEST NAMES MATT GINELLA SENIOR EDITOR OF TRAVEL AND CHRISTIAN IOOSS DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

New York, NY—Golf Digest has appointed Matt Ginella to Senior Editor of Travel and Christian Iooss to Director of Photography. The announcement was made today by Golf Digest Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, Jerry Tarde.

In his new role, Mr. Ginella will lead an initiative to expand the monthly travel coverage in the magazine and online. Mr. Ginella has been with Golf Digest Publications since 2001, most recently as the Director of Photography. He was previously the golf photo editor at Sports Illustrated and has covered 11 Masters Tournaments and 10 U.S. Opens.

Mr. Ginella is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College and holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University. He resides in Manhattan.

As the new Director of Photography, Mr. Iooss will oversee the photo departments of Golf Digest, Golf World, Golf Digest Index, and their respective web sites. This marks Mr. Iooss’ second term with the company; he was Deputy Picture Editor at Golf Digest and Golf World from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Iooss rejoins the company after two years at Getty Images.

Mr. Iooss is a New York City native and currently resides on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife.
