Publisher, Golf World
Laura Sequenzia was named Publisher of Golf World in May, 2009 after serving as Associate Publisher since 2006.
During her almost three year tenure as Associate Publisher, Golf World experienced unprecedented financial success. In 2008, the magazine recorded its best financial year ever, with revenue increasing 11% over 2007. From 2006, total advertising pages have increased by 9% and total revenue has grown by a record 27%.
In 2009, Ms. Sequenzia was instrumental in guiding the magazine to its first–ever inclusion on Adweek’s prestigious “Hot List” in the “10 Under 60” category.
Prior to joining Golf World as Associate Publisher, Ms. Sequenzia was the National Travel Director for Golf World, Golf Digest, and Golf For Women. In that role she managed national and regional travel, resort, and real estate accounts. Ms. Sequenzia was previously Travel and Equipment Director as well as Publisher of Golf World Business.
