Rickie Fowler

Rickie had one of the most clutch performances in Players Championship history, finishing his last six holes in regulation in six under par before securing the biggest win of his career in a thrilling playoff. Never one to shy away from bright colors (although he was missing his signature orange at Sawgrass), Fowler flipped the script on the Pink Out, wearing a blue and white rig with merely pink accents. Even so, he flexed the all-pink Puma spikes just to remind everyone who was still in control of the color palette.Puma Golf

Fowler always has one of the cooler, contemporary looks on tour. I pulled this pic because of the new cap he put in play Saturday. This feels like the multi-panel snapbacks I'd see in skate shops growing up. It fits him perfectly and probably looks a lot more like the stuff he wears off the course when he's not playing golf. It's about time the game's headgear got some attention; it feels like we've been seeing the same thing for a long time now.Puma Golf

Pure class as usual from Donald on Thursday. Luke always throws together solid setups with great color, but his sense of proportion and fit are generally right on, as well. Pay attention to the width of the belt. As things get slimmer your belt should follow suit. The width of Donald's strap is perfectly synced up with his total tailored look.RLX-Ralph Lauren

If Vineyard Vines really wants to be a factor on tour, the company has to come up with something a little more striking for Dufner than some khakis and a yellow polo. I'd expect this at my local muny, not from a major champion. Dufner is definitely down to his fighting weight, but he's gotta ditch that white belt and put together some stronger looks before he can really contend on the style leader board.Vineyard Vines FootJoy

Sergio Garcia

Sergio generally wears his clothes well, but last week's Adidas outfits felt over designed. The chest stripe, the color block and the ombre gradient can all look cool on their own but rarely does a shirt with all three balance together. Sergio tried it in different color variations all weekend, and they all felt over the top.adidas golf

Phil Mickelson

Phil is a real wildcard. Sometimes he looks great in nicely fitting, sartorial setups and other days he looks like he jumped into the DeLorean, grabbed some slacks from the 1990s and took 'em for a spin. Friday at Sawgrass looked like the later. It's one thing to have a break in your pants, it's another to have three or four. These trousers may fit Phil around the waist, but you can't say much after that.

Kevin Streelman / Jhonattan Vegas

Careful with the contrast. I see a lot of tour pros coordinating two saturated solid colors, creating a serious level of contrast from head to toe that's not always flattering. Take a look at Streelman and Vegas this weekend (or Tiger in red and black every Sunday). Sure these colors match, but they don't balance very well. The best way to break this up is to bring a subtle pattern into play or switch out one of your primary shades for a softer, neutral matte shade in stone or gray.Ogio Nike Golf

The Florida native made the Gator Nation proud in this orange-and-blue banger Saturday. He gets extra credit, too, for how he syncs his wide RLX Nylon strap with his wide stripe polo. Prints continue to trend on and off the tour, and Na cued up this navy tonal iteration Saturday. Blue looks good on everybody, and the tonal print reads and wears like a solid. If you're not sure how to put your first print into play, this is a good way to ease into it.Original Penguin

Thorbjørn Olesen

Nike's neon yellow "Volt" color is all over their line in a hit-or-miss sort of way. At the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, Olesen wore it well, grounded against his green shirt and bright white trousers. This color is obviously not the easiest to wear and always seems to work better as an accent then a primary color. Olesen is one of the sharpest dudes in the field wherever he tees it up and has looked like the star of the Nike staffers so far this season.Nike Golf

Hideki Matsuyama

As previous mentioned, the ombre polo (a color gradient where one shade fades into the next) is trending on tour, although I'm not sure why or how this became a thing. Matsuyama is generally a well-dressed dude, but it looked like he borrowed this outfit from a Marvel Comic villain. If you were looking for a tour trend to work into your own game, I'd let the ombre, well, fade, and wait on to the next one.Oakley

Graeme McDowell / Ian Poulter

Neither of these guys is a stranger to the tartan trouser. While both look good, G-Mac makes the more sophisticated move here. His pattern is tighter, only using two colors and skipping the high-contrast decoration stripe, which makes this whole look more approachable. If you want to wear a pattern on or off the golf course, G-Mac gives you a great example here.G-Mac by Kartel, IJP Design

It's one step forward and two steps back with this guy. Just cut the cord Kuch -- it's time to ditch the pleats once and for all. Less fabric equals more style.Skechers

Ryo Ishikawa

Ryo cued up all sorts of patterns and pop colors, but Sunday's setup was the coolest of them all. A custom-designed flamingo Hawaiian print shirt, re-imagined as a polo, with a tonal teal trouser is about as unique a look as you'll find on the tour. Unfortunately these looks are specially developed for Ryo and aren't on the market for mere mortals yet. If you are into his look you'll be happy to know that fresh floral prints are still trending and all sorts of shirts like this are probably hitting some of your favorite stores as we speak.Callaway Apparel
