Hot List Player Profile Quiz
1
The most important equipment characteristic for me is:
It has to be the best.
It better look more like a tour player's club than something grandpa uses.
It needs to help me hit it better, but it can't be too tricked up.
It has to help fix my mistakes.
It needs to improve my ballflight and distance.
2
If I had to describe my typical ballflight, it would be:
Depends what I'm using.
Straight, long, maybe a little draw.
Usually straight, but I fight inconsistency, not overly long.
Fade/Push/Slice.
Lower than I'd like.
3
The last time I bought some new equipment was:
What day is today?
I put a new shaft in my driver after a session on the launch monitor not that long ago, and I check my lie angles on my irons at least once a season.
I went through a fitting recently with my teacher and got a new set of irons or driver.
I bought a new driver last year because it was on sale.
It's been at least three years.
4
What ball do you play?
I buy the pro balls by the gross.
Tour ball, multilayer urethane cover, usually by the sleeve at the shop.
I like the $25 dozen balls.
Anything low spin.
15 packs mostly.
5
What kind of shafts do you have in your irons?
They're a new graphite model.
I go with TrueTemper Dynamic Gold, but I'd be willing to try those Rifle Project X shafts, too.
I have one of those lightweight steel shafts, under 100 grams.
They're steel, and a little heavier than I'd like.
I don't know.
