The Week In Style: 04.23.14
Matt Kuchar
Finally, we have Kuch wearing something that we actually think looks cool. We'll give him a hall pass for the white-on-white because we like the polo. We also have no problem with the compression shirt, it just has no level of style. It looks very utilitarian.
Michelle Wie
Michelle's right on trend with the colored placket, engineered stripes, matching belt, and, might we add, playing with a watch. This is a great look for her, for Nike, and for the LPGA. Everyone wins.
Lee Westwood
Congrats, Mr. Bright Clothes! Nice to see you back in the winner's circle.
Luke Donald
This monochromatic look always works on Luke, and he stepped it up this week with a matching sweater vest. Everything's perfectly in place, and one would've thought a 69 on Sunday in those conditions would've gotten the job done.
Jordan Spieth
Whether or not I love the color scheme, this is certainly going to be Jordan/UnderArmour's look moving forward. A little color would do wonders.
Miguel Angel Jimenez
It takes a real man to wear brown-on-brown and make it work. And this, my friends, is an example of something that works.
Jonathan Byrd
At least someone was able have some fun in that gloomy weather. Jonathan Byrd is to preppy as John Daly is to. . . By the way, those Allen Edmonds shoes sure make a statement as well.
Matteo Manassero
This is Matteo's version of the Seve Sunday look.
Alvaro Quiros
Quiros, my friends, is back in action and it's a welcome sight for fans of his great style and prodigious length.
Morgan Pressl
Morgan making a serious Lilly Pulitzer shorts statement.
Rikard Karlberg
An interesting pair of Tartan trousers on Karlberg, and notice how simple he's kept everything else. Clearly an Ian Poulter influence.
Lydia Ko
We love these bold, bright stripes on Miss Ko.
Marcel Siem
This might be the only image we see of Marcel without the pony tail. Could this be the Fowler influence going international?
Pablo Larrazabal
This is the only shot you will see from last week where Pablo has his shirt on. It's not a bad shirt, either. You'll always look good when everything fits this well.
Graeme McDowell
G-Mac with the collar up! Boy, there's a reason he's always on the 10 Best-Dressed Tour Players list. Here's example No. 231.
Johnson Wagner
Great to see Johnson Wagner back, and great to see he's still wearing the very, very cool belt that his mother made for him.
