FARMINGDALE, N.Y. -- With his eagle on the par-5 fourth hole, Ricky Barnes at 11 under par becomes just the fourth player in U.S. Open to reach double-digit under par.

The other three: Jim Furyk, who reached 11 under in the third round in 2003 at Olympia Fields; Dr. Gil Morgan, who was at 12 under in the third round at Pebble Beach in 1992; and Tiger Woods, who finished the 2000 Open at Pebble Beach at 12-under.
