There's nothing like being on-site at a golf tournament, unless of course you're standing at the Hole 2 when the most important shot in the history of golf occurs on Hole 6.
Enter a company called Kangaroo TV that has been helping Nascar and Formula 1 fans at Turn 2 see what's going on at Turn 4 for years and all that changes. They also give NFL junkies at one game eight other games on their gadget.
Through a new Tour license, Kangaroo will supply fans with hand-held devices that will not only provide them the television feed, but all of the camera feeds the telecast selects from.
Kangaroo is already serving the European Tour. It's not here this week--he deal was done to late, and the cost has not yet been set. But it will change the on-site experience forever. And, one hopes, for better.
