Control the long explosion

On a long greenside bunker shot, I’ll use anything from a sand wedge to an 8-iron, depending on distance. First, set up with your feet and shoulders slightly open, but your clubface square. Aim about an inch behind the ball and make a three-quarter, accelerating swing.
