- Alignment: Look at the target
Alignment is the most important fundamental. A solid shot that goes 20 yards off line is no help on any hole. Most golfers don’t use their eyes correctly to get aligned, but here my coach Rafael Alarcon is showing me what is square. He is encouraging me to look at the target—not the ball or my feet—as I set up. By looking out, my body responds to the target naturally.
