At the Frys.com Open, Troy Matteson used mostly Titleist equipment but had a couple of interesting clubs in his bag, notably a Ping TiSI Tec 3-wood (first introduced in the fall of 2001) and a Heavy Putter A1 flat stick. On the Champions Tour, Phil Blackmar was all TaylorMade save for a Guerin Rife Abaco putter that he used to rank seventh in putts per GIR for the week.
