Doug Weaver, Jerry Pate, Nick Price and Mark Wiebe all within two hours, 1989, Oak Hill, sixth hole, second round. The National Hole-In-One Association puts the odds at 8.7 million-to-1 of four aces on the same hole in the same round.

Gary Player, 1979, Inverness, third hole, third round. No acer has won the U.S. Open. Player (T-2) came closest.

Scott Hoch, 2004, Shinnecock Hills, 17th hole, first round. The amateur's first swing after a rain delay rolls into the cup.

Spencer Levin, 2004, Shinnecock Hills, 17th hole, first round. The amateur's first swing after a rain delay rolls into the cup.

Johnny Miller, 1982, Pebble Beach, 12th hole, second round and Andy Miller, 2002, Bethpage Black, third hole, fourth round. They are the only father-son combination to have Open aces.

Tom Weiskopf, 1982, Pebble Beach, seventh hole, fourth round. And his bid to make another at 17 ends up three inches short.
