Saturday's Birdies and Bogeys

Who were the winners and losers on Saturday at Augusta National? It's time to take a closer look with another edition of birdies and bogeys.

April 12, 2014
Miguel Angel Jimenez

Birdie: Miguel Angel Jimenez

It's tough to root against a guy like Jordan Spieth, but if there's one guy who could actually succeed in splitting opinion, it's Jimenez. The cigar-smoking, wine-drinking, aviator-wearing 50-year-old played his way into the top five after a six-under 66. He made just one bogey all day, and with those ahead of him looking shaky late Saturday, it could be Jimenez, not Spieth, writing his name into the Augusta National record books as the major's oldest ever winner on Sunday.
