Tiger Woods, the cultural icon, is hitting it big again. Not only has he lit up TMZ.com and Entertainment Tonight with his joint announcement with Lindsey Vonn of their budding romance. Now, Woods plays the leading cameo role in the latest Nike commercial. Not for the company's latest golf equipment or apparel. Not for generic sporting goods spot. No, this is for something even more culturally hip. Tiger is in a skateboarding shoe commercial.

Woods makes two appearances in the spot for the Eric Koston 2 shoe, which mixes shots of Koston skateboarding through increasingly bizarre situations with reactions from fans retelling the story of his exploits. Woods' memorable closing line in the commercial seems likely to go viral. Koston is a professional skateboarder with numerous medals in the X Games and has been featured in several video games. Koston, a Thai-American, also is a big fan of Woods, and the two met earlier this year at the Farmers' Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
The spot debuted in North America, Brazil and Western Europe today.
