Trending: The World Record for longest golf shot caught by a moving car

Yup, you read that correctly, it is indeed an accomplishment worthy of a Guiness World Record. And while catching a golf ball in a moving car might not be a good idea to try at home, Formula 1 legend David Coulthard and rookie European pro-golfer Jake Shepherd -- with a little help from Mercedes -- took the challenge to task. With Coulthard in an SLS Roadster and Shepherd doing his best impression of a teenager trying to hit the cart picking up golf balls at the driving range, watch as they connect on this 178-mph bomb to set the record. I'm not entirely sure whose record they broke, but it is indeed a remarkable feat.

Thanks to Liz Bergren for the tip.
