Mickelson, caddie at odds over long putters?

Phil Mickelson and his caddie Jim Mackay have been known to have on-course debates over shot or club selection, the employee disagreeing with the employer. Are they again on opposite sides of an issue?

Golf World's Ron Sirak has reported on Twitter that Mickelson has been practicing with a long putter and is, in fact, using one in the Deutsche Bank Championship Pro-Am today at TPC Boston.

Two weeks ago, on the Golf Channel show "Feherty," Mackay had this to say about long putters: "If I could change one thing it would be the long putters, that players not be allowed to attach putters to their body. It's bad for the game, at least at the professional level."
