Poulter to Tiger: 'Settle down No. 2'

Ian Poulter is the antidote to a game often accused of lacking color and not simply as a result of his colorful wardrobe. He loves the banter that passes for talking trash in golf circles.

On Twitter, Poulter's preferred means of communication these days, he posted this to Lee Westwood regarding an exchange he had with Tiger Woods Tuesday on the putting green at Sherwood Country Club, site of Woods' Chevron World Challenge this week:

"@WestwoodLee Tiger called across the putting green today & said don't you know know how to mark ur ball, I said settle down No 2..."

Poulter was penalized a stroke on the second playoff hole of the Dubai World Championship for inadvertently dropping his ball on his ball maker, causing it to move. He lost to Robert Karlsson.

Woods, of course, has dropped to No. 2 in the World Ranking behind Westwood.
